Nine updates went live since October 5: rent your films as well as sell them, rentals and search in the mobile and TV apps, a new Analytics dashboard that shows who watched and how much, fixing a buyer's mistyped email yourself, a redesigned video player, share-link viewers on your Access page, paywall warnings, an upload fix, and a better Recently Deleted.
Nine updates went live since our October 5 post. None of them repeat anything from that post.
Two let you earn more from the films you already have. One shows you exactly who watched. The rest close gaps that used to cost you a support ticket or a sale.
What's New Since October 5
- Rentals. Rent your films as well as sell them.
- Mobile and TV apps. Rentals and search on iPhone, Android, Apple TV, Android TV and Fire TV.
- Analytics. See who watched, and how much of it, on a new dashboard.
- Buyer emails. Fix a buyer's mistyped email yourself.
- Video player. A new look for the player your viewers watch on.
- Share-link viewers. They now show on your Access page.
- Paywall warnings. A heads-up before your paid content is given away.
- Uploads. No more false "Fatal issue detected" errors.
- Recently Deleted. Restore brings back everything it lists.
1. Rent Your Films as Well as Sell Them
A Paywall can now offer a rental alongside, or instead of, a purchase.
Open the presentation, click Monetize, and go to the Paywall tab. Tick Rent and set its price. Then choose how long the buyer has to press play, and how long they can watch once they start. In the example below, renters get 30 days to start and 48 hours to finish.

Rentals appear as their own line on the Sales tab, and you manage renters from the Access page. When a rental ends, the film stays in the viewer's library with a note that it has ended. So they can rent or buy it again without hunting for the link.

Why it matters: Charge less for one viewing and more to keep it. Viewers who wouldn't pay full price have a cheaper way in.
2. Rentals and Search in the Mobile and TV Apps
The iPhone, Android, Apple TV, Android TV and Fire TV apps now show rentals. Viewers see how long they have left to start or finish watching, right on the library tile and on the film's page.
They can rent or buy from there too. On a phone, it opens checkout in the browser. On a TV, it shows a QR code to scan. The apps can also search your library by title.

Why it matters: Your rentals work wherever your viewers watch. And a big library is quick to find things in, even with a TV remote.
3. See Who Watched, and How Much of It
There's a new Analytics page for the whole account, and every presentation has its own analytics too.
The account page shows views, watch time and engagement over time. Pick a date range at the top right and compare it with the previous period.

Needs Attention, and three tabs you can export
Further down, Needs Attention lists content that was delivered but never opened, or where viewing dropped off. In our account it flagged 2 deliveries nobody opened and 117 recipients who hadn't watched yet.
The Content, Videos and Viewers tabs can each be exported to CSV.

Open any viewer
Click View Activity on a viewer to see which videos they watched, how much of each one, and when.

Premium Analytics is available as an add-on, with a separate 7-day free trial.
Why it matters: Know whether the client actually watched the cut before you chase them, and find the delivery nobody opened.
4. Fix a Buyer's Mistyped Email Yourself
If a buyer typed their email wrong at checkout, an admin or manager can now correct it from the Access page or the Sales tab.
On the Sales tab, open the buyer's menu and click Manage Access. You land on the Access page, filtered to that buyer. Select them, open Actions, and choose Change email. It's there for a paid recipient who hasn't accepted yet, which is exactly what happens when the email was wrong.

The purchase moves to the right address and a fresh invitation goes there. The Sales tab still records the address they originally paid with.
Why it matters: A typo at checkout no longer leaves a paying customer locked out, or you waiting on support.
5. A New Look for the Video Player
The player your viewers watch on has been redesigned. The controls now sit on a rounded panel floating over the video, with a larger play button over the poster, cleaner icons and menus that slide open.

Your brand's highlight colour still sets the accent.
Why it matters: Your work plays in a player that looks as finished as the film.
6. Viewers Who Joined From a Share Link Now Show on Your Access Page
Many viewers had added content to their library through an old Add to Library feature. They could watch it, but they didn't appear on the Access page. So you couldn't see who they were or remove them.
They're listed now, marked Added from share link. To find them, open Filters, then Source, and tick Added from share link. To remove one, select them, open Actions, and choose Revoke Access.

Why it matters: You can see everyone who has your content, and take it back from any of them.
7. Warnings Before Your Paid Content Is Given Away
Turn on a Paywall while a public share link is also live, and you now get a warning. The same goes for an add-on set up in a way that conflicts with the Paywall. The warning explains what viewers would get for free.

Why it matters: You find out about the gap before a viewer does.
8. Uploads No Longer Wrongly Flagged as Broken
A video whose audio ends a few seconds before the picture used to be marked "Fatal issue detected", even though it played fine. Those files now upload normally.
Why it matters: No more re-exporting a good file to get past a false error.
9. Restoring From Recently Deleted Has Been Improved
Restoring a deleted video or presentation, or a project containing one, could fail with an error under certain conditions. That's fixed, so Recently Deleted brings back everything it lists.
Here's how it works. Delete a folder and it moves to Recently Deleted. Everything in it can be restored for seven days. Open Recently Deleted, click Restore, and it goes back where it was.

Why it matters: The safety net we launched last month now catches everything it should.
Analytics Lives on the New Dashboard
If you haven't switched yet, there's a Try the new dashboard button at the top of yours. One click, nothing to book, and you can look around before you commit.
Not included, on purpose: the new sign-up and welcome experience for brand-new accounts, security and reliability work, behind-the-scenes billing and analytics changes, and a run of small fixes and polish that don't change how you work.
